"Spellbinding . . . Packed with white-knuckle action, daring chases, and breathless escapes." IRIS JOHANSEN "BRILLIANT, BREATHTAKING SUSPENSE. Blind Run starts with a bang and maintains a blistering pace right down to the nail-biter ending. Patricia Lewin does not disappoint." LISA GARDNER "From its sharply-etched opening in the desert to its gripping finale and I won't tell you where Blind Run is the work of a writer with the genuine talent to thrill. Brava, Patricia Lewin!" TESS GERRITSEN "The nerve-shattering beginning draws the reader immediately into this book. What follows is a thriller lover's dream of white-knuckle action. It is also the story of a man's redemption, a love re-kindled, and a chance for vengeance. Ms. Lewin is an author whose star is on the rise." Rendezvous "Lewin's taut thriller is filled with hair-raising car chases and complex double crosses . . . spunky children and fast-paced action." Booklist "[A] fast pace [and] abundant action." Synopsis
Ethan Decker is a specialized "Hunter" for the most secretive agency of the U.S. government, tracking down ruthless international fugitives. But when a renegade assassin kills Decker's young son, he leaves his unsuspecting wife-to save her from the madman's threats-and exiles himself to a remote desert in New Mexico. Then one searing day, a former member of Decker's covert team arrives at his door, shepherding two children. She entrusts them to his protection and leaves without explanation-only to turn up dead a few miles down the road, killed by the man who murdered Decker's son. Suddenly the race is on: to reach his ex-wife before the ruthless assassin finds her, and to unlock the mystery behind the two children-innocents who end up as pawns in a dark conspiracy so evil that even this former spy cannot imagine the peril that lies directly in his path.

- r***e (670)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchasePrompt shipment, and the book arrived quickly. Better packaging materials could have been used, as it was shipped in a poly mailer sealed tight with zero padding to protect again bumps/damage, but the book arrived in acceptable condition. The description was vague, and it's not worth trying to send back. I'll still keep/use the books as is. Thanks.Seeing Things John's Way: The Rhetoric of the Book of Revelation (#186900309708)
