This thing cranks my TDI diesel over so fast , it probably fires as soon as a cylinder hits top dead center. This without waiting for the glow plugs to heat up. A slow cranking diesel is had to start. Boy am I happy. I've had my '04 Jetta for 9 years and put almost 200k miles on it since purchasing it. I've NEVER had a starter work this good! Similar principle for other diesel engines, they love new and upgraded starters. This one is no different. This is a very high quality product and my '04 Jetta (with a slightly tired battery) started up great this morning in 30 degrees with no block heater.
