As shown in the picture the original ad doesn't mention the hemmed to 22 inches part. My boyfriend has been looking for this type of 501 pants for s long time. We were browsing through several and ran across these shown. We should have clicked it to read the ĥ, but did not. I realized that I need to read the entire ad next time. Let me first positively review the seller. They did everything that a good seller should, offering a reasonable price and delivering well ahead of schedule. The seller is GREAT! The item is another matter (this is a manufacturer issue). The ornaments are much less realistic and more toy-like than others in this series...and it is virtually impossible to get them out of the packaging! T'hey are sturdy enough that you can be kind of forceful, though. Again, GREAT SELLER-slightly disappointing item
