i at first thought i had bought the wrong upgrade. but in messaging with the seller i did some research and found this the right upgrade. coming from china the shipping wasn't too bad. this cpu doubled the threads and is 35% more ghz. will be quite a bit faster, with greater compacity. price was good. thanks lm
