Battlefield: Bad Company is one of those games of the war genre that offers hours of quality challenging play to complete the mission objectives and just plain turn around and play again and again. Great graphics and action...good addition to any game collection for the PS3! The play and unlockables are quite easy to get and gameplay is smooth as far as other war games go. War games are about the realism, and this game has plenty of that, so parents should consider the content when buying for kids! This is a teenage rated game! Good quality game value for the money! As always you should consider borrowing, renting and/or trying online downloads before buying, just in case it isn't your style of game...different tastes for some people...however, this game gets plenty of playing time around our house! Please help support the eBay community and take the time to provide a review of this information and to how useful you may have found it...I hope it helped..Thanks, and have a great day!Read full review
battle feild bad company is a first person shooter and has a open world like grand theft auto, which is great! .This game is is just like any other first person shooter "you shoot stuff" but also it has very destructable enviroments, if you see a guy peeking at you from around a corner of a house , toss a gernade at him to bring the wall down to take down his cover, know a building where a bunch of guys are hiding? call inn an air strike to take the whole building down! its stuff like that, that make this game fun.It is also an "open world" game, meaning you can go anywhere, you can complete each mission the way you see fit.Online is where its at! if you like teaming up with your buddies for some online battles ,suit up! and watch out for snipers!
After 6000 kills in online multiplayer, I must say this game is addictive. The problem is that few online gamers play as a squad. Most just want to be Lone Rangers and rack up kills. Part of the reason for that is the faulty VOIP - Voice Over Internet Protocol. Sony and EA have done a substandard job of making sure bluetooth headsets consistently connect, so you have to play without communication at times. It is also difficult to connect to friends who you want to form a squad with. For whatever reason, the servers do not connect you with your requested friends. You really need patience to form a squad. For the average gamer, it's fun. For the advanced gamer, there are some drawbacks. Some of the Wildcards and Patches are nearly impossible to earn, ie, 4 helicopter roadkills in a round and 50 Naval Vehicle roadkills. Give me a break. Still it's the best online multiplayer shooter I know for PS3, even better than COD4 and SOCOM. I like it!Read full review
I love army gaming. Socom is my favorite game. I bought this game waiting for Socom Confrontation to come out. Bad Company Battlefield was a nice bridge until the game came out because the type of game and the different ways you can go about playing online. I like being able to fly helicopters, driving tanks, and buggies. I also like how you can laser designate armor vechiles and call in artillary. This makes the game more realistic. Another good part of the game is how you are allowed to destroy building, create craters in ground and basically destroy the environment. This aspect makes it more like how real live warfare is. Overall, I rate this game a 9/10. If you like military type games and online playing you will love this game.
I have really enjoyed playing this game so far. You get to experience every aspect of warfare, the maps are huge, and the action is intense! The storyline is a little cheesy, but it makes the game more challenging (which for me makes it more fun). I like how you can always heal yourself and you have an infinite number of usages with the "healing stick". There are so many different types of guns and other weapons which make the game fun and a little bit easier after you find certain weapons. One thing I did not enjoy as much is not being able to carry more than more large firearm. But if you find the gun that's right for you, it's not a huge deal anymore. Still, I would've like to carry at least 2 large weapons. This is a great game and fun to play. The story keeps you into it the entire time.Read full review
I would say this, This Game Have Every kind of Action Motion, You can play any type if vehicles, big amount of types of weapons, that you won't get bored, i couldn't stop playing it, and when you get it done, there is Online Mode that have prety much everything!! there is one thing that get noticed, it's graphics, this game like couple years old , so you should not expect great video images, but still get me moving!!! i would give to this game 4.3 out of 5.0 ,
Bad Company has been a more fun multi-experience than Call of Duty by a long shot. I say this because it doesn't give you a list of 14 game types that you can choose from, all equally annoying in nature; Bad Company gives you one, and for some reason it never gets old. You're placed on a map and are given the task to defend or destroy some crates. Yeah, it seems like a poorly-crafted variation of capture the flag, but there is much more to it than that. There is an insane amount of action going on constantly: Buildings are practically on fire, and in between these buildings there may be even more explosions for you to run through to get to that crate. Another perk to this game is that its story lets you choose how you're going to approach your given situation. You're not placed in a hallway filled with enemies and told to go through it while your CPU team mates lag behind, possibly drinking tea or reading a magazine, Bad Company places you outside, and gives you a general area filled with enemies, who may or may not be entrenched in a building. You can choose to (a) blow the building to pieces or (b) Snipe your enemies and preserve your surroundings. But again, that is all up to you!Read full review
Battlefield: Bad Company is a little different from most games. The ability to destroy buildings is definitely a great feature! Battlefield is also a little different because of the funny humor. I think this is the first "War Game" to have so much humor! Sure, Call of Duty and Medal of Honor may have humor during one point of the game but Battlefield: Bad Company pretty much has it through the whole game! The Good: - Excellent Multiplayer! - Very Realistic - (Blow up building etc.) - Characters are funny - Kind of has replay value - Find all the gold crates on each map. The Bad: - Campaign is a little short but the excellent multiplayer makes up for that. - Few little bugs where you get close to an object you get stuck and have to crouch to get out of it but you may not find any. All in all, Battlefield: Bad Company is definitely worth buying! In my opinion, Battlefield 2142 and Battlefield: Bad Company is tied but since Bad Company has a campaign, they are the best in series! This is just my opinion tho, you might like an other Battlefield better. thanks for the "TheReview" guyRead full review
I love shooter games and this one didn't disappoint! Very playable at every level and have finished it and started a second run through all the levels it is that good. Down side is the team you are part of don't do a lot for you and only really get involved when you run into the thick of it. Also there are times when the AI of the enemy gets a little predictable. That said this is a game that is well worth you hard earned buck and can be played for a long time!
When it comes to First Person Shooters it's hard to compare any of the Battlefield games with other titles. Games such as Call of Duty come close but just do not have the huge envirements and skill level of gameplay that BF is known for. The graphics are gorgeous...the sound exceptionally realistic...and the effects are mind blowing. This is the first game that truly utilizes interactive envirements, with the player being able to shape his environment with weaponry etc. Finally what Battlefield game would be complete without a wide assortment of battle vehicles to tool around in! It gets boring just running around on your feet all day when you can jump in a tank to lay waste to your enemy! I also LOVE the fact that if you play this game like an idiot "rushing into gunfire etc..." and get killed you have to wait for a period of time to return...sometimes having to start from a previous position. If your like me a "skillful player" you get sick of the idiots online that just keep playing like morons and respawning constantly. At least this method helps weed out the nOObs! I am typically a PC gamer and this is my second title purchased for PS3. I give it a 10/10 points.Read full review
