      A classic renamed that still 'rings' bells everywhere.

      When 'Ring My Bell' was released in 1979 I was still a kid. Mind you, a kid that went record shopping in the DJ pools. We had heard this on the radio one time before running out to buy the album. The album is one of the better produced R&B/Disco albums of the 70's. Unfortunately, but the time Disco had found its feet as far as production and performance stability it was already being bumped out by Punk, New Wave and the 80's. 'Ring My Bell' remains a dancefloor staple even 32 years after its release but it was the soulful 'You Lied' that caused me to buy this album on CD format.
