    16 Tons of vintage Tennessee Ernie Ford songs

    This is an over 40 minute long CD of many of Ford's original hit songs, including some duets. Ford sang many genres of music; this CD includes cowboy, country, and rural boogie songs, but is not one of his gospel albums. His strong, rich voice and the interesting liner notes make this a high quality, enjoyable (not only economical) CD. Milk 'Em in the Morning Blues, Cry of the Wild Goose, Mule Train, the Hey Good Lookin' duet with Helen O' Connell and Hambone with Bucky Tibbs songs are included among many others. Fully recommended.
