  • Grant Comes East----and doesn't do much

The book was good, but drawn out and a setup for the third book. It is a little far fetched in that it does not give the Union generals enough credit and Lee a little too much on tactics. True, Lee was brillant but he was at times overly aggressive and that is lost on this book. It is actually transposed to Sickles.....but that is what fiction is all about. I hope the third book is not as drawn out.

  • Continuing the Gettysburg civil war story

It is greatly written and puts across the story in a super way well worth the time to read Great book Newt does well on all things he sets out to do
