disappointed
Purchased both a color and black ink cartridge. Both are in code according to the dates on the packages. However, when I installed them, the printer indicates the color cartridge is empy. I have tried reinstalling several times, but receive the same error / warning message each time. The printer does work, but you must manually overide each print job to force the printer to work.

genuine dell ink cartridge
this was a genuine ink cartridge and it woked flawlessly, I have purchased some refilled cartridges before and they did not work very well, that is why I always purchase the genuine item

It's an ok cartridge
First impression was it is wrapped good but then the ink wouldn't work, I had to soak it in warm water for a few minutes then tried it again. So far all is ok.
