    Yet another excellent Collins field guide. Succinct but addresses key issues supported by excellent illustrations. Not used in the field yet but I look forward to it. Highly recommended!

    Collins birds of India Field Guide

    There are many pages where the birds are found only e.g. in the Himalayas. It would have saved much time spent reading the distribution text if the maps were on the same, or facing, page.
