the ape in the eighties
well this is a fun take on every one's favorite big ape it's fun it's got cheese it's keeps to the story while trying to do new things which is one of the things about this take you can see they are trying to bring this story in to modern times which is were some of the changes they made come in things like they go to the island looking for oil or talking about wild life protection and instead of having him climb up the empire state building he climbs up the world trade center ( yes bit of a sad reminder there ) the cast are great the girl playing the air head actress they find on the way to the island does a good job she is a bit of a air head but you like her any way so if you are a fan of the 1933 and 2005 films this will be fun to see as it tells the story those two films told but in ... well this is a fun take on every one's favorite big ape it's fun it's got cheese it's keeps to the story while trying to do new things which is one of the things about this take you can see they are trying to bring this story in to modern times which is were some of the changes they made come in things like they go to the island looking for oil or talking about wild life protection and instead of having him climb up the empire state building he climbs up the world trade center ( yes bit of a sad reminder there ) the cast are great the girl playing the air head actress they find on the way to the island does a good job she is a bit of a air head but you like her any way so if you are a fan of the 1933 and 2005 films this will be fun to see as it tells the story those two films told but in elements of more modern time the effects are not that bad not what the 2005 film was but for the time they were good this is a real good light movie to just put on for a watch a bit of action a bit of love a giant ape you don' need much more
