I know this was probably because of all the handling on such a long journey, but so should you ;) I suggest reinforced protection on the corners for the distant travellers like this marvellous book you sent me!

Book shipped quickly and came in padded envelope wrapped in paper (may I suggest you consider wrapping books in plastic to avoid rain damage?) and had no damage.
