Its main spring winding is an "or" type, it can be wound manually with the crown in addition to passive capture from the rotor. Speed adjustment may be challenging, as the hair spring pre-load mechanism is displayed ahead of the balance wheel near 6 o'clock. I find this timepiece is visually pleasing with multiple planes of depth and enough use of negative space.
