Rock'em Sock'em Robots Arena gives players the chance to duke it out using customizable robots. The robots can be customized by buying additional parts or by winning parts from opponents. Though each arm part is preset for a specific side, you can choose a myriad or parts for either the left or right arm, and the legs (which are used as a single unit). Battle is pretty straitforward, and the graphics are fairly good. The majority of the parts have a special ability and a regular attack. There is a couple unlockable bosses in the game such as Ben Hurt, and Sir Haxalot, which cannot be cutomized; but most robots can be. The only bad thing about the game is spamming a part. Though the fighting is enjoyable, there are a few parts which are either too fast or too powerful to be blocked effectively, leading to a rather easy (if not unfair) victory. Overall the game is fun, and is quite enjoyable, especially if you're a fan of the toy line or of robots in general. But if you're looking for a challenge, this game may not be for you.Read full review
This video game is a great new way to play Rock em Sock em Robots. You can be more than just red and blue robots, including a slamurai robot. This is a fun game for kids to play. It does not have the blood and gore voilence some other fighting arena games have. It is also relatively easy to learn the controls and be good at the game. Great way for kids to work on their fine motor skills.
