This backpack is made of heavy weave canvas and feels really sturdy. The press studs on the front pocket are black coloured metal and the side pockets tie closed. The only concern I have is the buckles have a sharp edge on the inner surface, that I can foresee wearing through the main closure straps. However I think this is a common problem with this type of buckle as I have seen in on these closure every time. Over all it is all very solidly made and at a reasonable price.
