In 2023 a plumber installed an identical item in my bathtub charging me $1250 dollars ($850 for the part and $400 for labour) to fix a leak at the hot water seal. I have leak in the pipes going to the spout in my laundry tub. Fitting looks like child's play from watching the video. Plumbers have quoted me around $1500 to break into the wall and change the pipe with filling in the hole and retiling an unknown extra cost. What a saving!!
