Notes
Brent Gallaher moved to the Cincinnati, OH area in 1988 to attend Cincinnati University's College Conservatory of Music. He received a Bachelors of Music in Jazz and Studio music in 1994. While at CCM, Brent was featured on the album Carnival of Life (1994 Alissa Records). This record showcases the talents of the CCM Jazz Department. Brent can be heard with both the big band as well as the Two O'clock Jazz Combo. Two songs on the album, 'Splat' and 'Sort of Shorter' are Brent's original compositions. While in school, Brent was offered a position in the Glenn Miller Orchestra; he accepted and toured with the Miller band in 1991 and 1992. Brent can be heard on their album Here We Go Again (1992 Victor), and has solos on 'St. Louis Blues March' (W.C. Handy), 'Sun Valley Jump' (Jerry Grey) and 'Johnson Rag' (Kleinkauf/Lawrence/Hall). After his stint with the Miller Band, Brent returned to Cincinnati to complete school and then stayed in town working as a freelance musician. In Nov. 1998 Brent got a call to tour with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra under the direction of Buddy Morrow. Brent was with the Dorsey band for just under a year. He returned to Cincinnati and in 2000 Buddy asked him back and Brent when out for another seven months. On this tour the band played at George W. Bush's Inaugural Ball. Brent now resides in Cincinnati, freelancing and working on his own independent musical ventures. Locally, Brent has played with the Blue Wisp Big Band, the Cohesion Jazz Ensemble, Cal Collins, the Phil DeGreg Trio, the Ron Enyard Trio, Wilbert Longmire, Ed Moss Society Jazz Orchestra, the Psychoacoustic Orchestra and the Mike Wade Quintet. The Cohesion Jazz Ensemble and The Psychoacoustic Orchestra are featured on J-Curve's Cincinnati Jazz Collection Vol. 1 (1998) with Brent as a member. Brent also recorded with the Psychoacoustic Orchestra on Blackstone's Hidden Treasures - Cincinnati's Tribute to King Records' Legacy (2003). In August of 2003, Brent completed the recording of his first CD Vanessa's Song and it was released in March of 2004. This CD features the talents of Jim Connerley on piano, Jim Anderson on bass and Tony Franklin on drums. Presently, Brent can be heard with his own groups as well as with the Art Gore Quartet, the Blue Wisp Big Band, the Lou Lausche Quartet and the Steve Schmidt Trio.

I'm very sorry about this. I got caught up in handling a multi-day emergency and didn't get back to you promptly. I have no idea about the missing inlay page (the CD wasn't from my personal library). I did research photos from the Discogs listing to no avail last night to try and find out what the page might have been and was going to get back to you this evening. I place a great deal of importance in maintaining communication with my customers, and simply screwed up this time. Best, Pop
