After USPS misrouting the package, it arrived a day later. The original headband on my old astro's A40's was flat and work out in the center. This despite being used is in fantastic condition. Finding parts for this older version is quite hard so thank you very much for having this! My head set is now more comfortable on my narrow head. The item was a bit dusty, but a quick wipe down with a gentle cleaner made it look almost like new.

    Great replacmenet headband for my 1st generation A50

    Works with 1st generation A50 albeit a bit tight for cable fitment (just be careful). Also, be careful removing/installing the headband screws. Astro put way too much thread locker on at the factory, and these replacement headbands do not come with new screws. My hand was legit cramping by the time I removed the screws. That being said, this has nothing to do with the product I purchased here on eBay, but I will probably not buy an Astro headset again due to the way that they are manufactured. Now that Logitech owns the company, Astro does not offer replacement parts for a 7-year old headset that cost ~$300 in 2012. At any rate, if you need to replace the headband, this is what you need. Just be careful!

    Glued in Screws?

    Piece looked good coming out of box. While trying to unscrew the screws on this piece both the heads broke off. After gluing the screws somewhat back into place i realized this holder doesnt even fit my Astro A40s the inner plastic earmuff holders are too long. Disappointed.

    Terrible

    First of all when I tried to unscrew the screws they striped with out even turning once. So I had to pull out the screw with the metal connector and super glue it into my head set it worked but they are not factory screws.
