      Great product with great features !!!

      I was installing a rare factory tach in my 1985 silverado and could not get it to work. Once this Dakota adaptor was wired, not only did it work, but I was making adjustments with the app on my cell phone. A great product and I highly recommend it !!!!

      Did not work for me

      I have an LS swapped 6 speed 1962 Chevy II nova. The box did not amplify my tach signal enough for the VDO tach to read. My speedo was off 10x and the box only corrected my speedo to 5x and was out of adjustment. Blue tooth capable with the free app makes it easy to adjust.

      Perfect for a VSS signal to OBD1

      I purchased this for my 1989 C3500. Before I purchased the truck the transmission had been replaced with an older version that did not have the reluctor for the speed sensor. I've been running it for years with no speed sensor but using an aftermarket electric speedo and hall effect sender. This worked fine for telling how fast I was going but it did not send a signal to the ECM. These OBD1 units don't require the speed for much, but they do use it for deceleration and idle trim. The truck has always had issues with a high idle in park after driving for a while. The speedo and wiring are a 3 year only on these trucks and kind of difficult to set up. The signal goes to the speedo then buffered and sent to the ECM. Calibration for gearing and tire size is done using resistors in certain ...

      Best bang for the buck!!

      This is the perfect unit if your running aftermarket EFI and want your speedo working again! I'll be using this in my 91 Z28 running Holley HP efi to send a 4000 ppm signal to the stock speedo
