I had previously purchased a generic one and the thermostat was not only inaccurate, it failed after one year. This OEM one has noticeably superior build quality, it is both heavier than the generic one and has a better design. Worth the extra cost compared to generic. Don't waste your money on Chinese knock offs, they fail.
