Although a little pricy for a small part, it fitted well within my heater. Although it is advertised for Dimplex, it also works with my Newlec wall mount heater. Save me for having to bug a brand new heater

This is a genuine replacement part, and as such does the job. However it must be the most expensive small bit of plastic and string ever marketed. You probably don't need the string as it is the plastic that fails. This does look slightly stronger than the original which is a very poor design judging by the number of failures. Was not quite the right one for my heater. The pivot was too long and the paddle was too long, but I made it fit. I checked the part no. on the manufacturers web site, the no. is correct but the part was wrong, but still happy I got it working.
