    Rugged Eton Scorpion II

    Great Idea. Works great on AM-FM-Weather. Light is bright in the dark. It can charge my phone and like that you can hand crank it and also use the solar panel to recharge it. Besides plugging it into the wall. Radio lasts many hours. I use it for camping and during a recent power outage. Highly recommended! This 1 was for a family member.

    Good but not so good...

    Battery charges but doesn't put off a charge for my cellphone so it's kinda useless for what I intended to use it for. BUT there was a plus side to my camping trip! The 1 lumin flashlight was well bright enough to navigate my way around in the dark and after 2 nights it only used 1 of the 3 power bars! Weather station came in well enough for me to prepare for a big lightning storm that came over the camp! Other then the power cell not putting off a charge it was well worth the money! Hope the next one I have to buy puts off a charge and then you get 5 stars! ;)

    Compact and durable for carry purposes but very poor AM reception.

    Radio is durable in design but AM reception is very poor. FM Reception is much better. Ease of tuning is not that good since tuning is done digitally with no dial. The unit is compact and rugged looking and would be ideal for carry but wish the AM Reception was better (could only pick up one station).

    Everyone should have one of these just in case.

    Everyone should have one of these just in case the power goes out and you need to charge your phone or any usb device, listen to the news, or you need a flashlight you can charge by solar panel, or hand cranking. I also have an older model that takes aaa batteries, that is the only thing this lacks.

    Solar power oh yeah..

    At first it didn't seem to want to charge then it held the charge forever..but I dropped it and broke the clip..glued it with E6000 ..no problem.. works great..
