Great Design
I Bought this sharpener because it had a clear specification for the sharpening angle (15deg). Cheaper brands will not even provide this info and you may end up with a sharpening angle not suited for your knife. The build quality is exceptional; it is so beautiful it stays on my bench ready for action. Sharpening is great. Instead of using tungstene carbide V blades for the rough side, they use diamond coated V flats. The fine side uses flats as well as opposed to the usual round ceramic rods. I expect a longer life from this design. Very pleased that I invested a bit of extra money.I Bought this sharpener because it had a clear specification for the sharpening angle (15deg).
