Great sound for portable dvd player, laptop, tablet. I still have the one I purchased a few years ago, although the cushion cover have worn they still work and I was really glad to find the same item on ebay. I use them to listen my latin jazz collection as well as my dvd movies. I really enjoy watching a movie such as Star Wars, they capture all the ambiance of the sound effects as well as the musical score. Worth a try and compare to other more expensive headphones.

Pros: Durable, long cord, nice look, relatively cheap, good quality sound, very light weight. Cons: not as comfortable as they look, all plastic, no rubber or soft cushions. Overall Recommendation: These are ideal for hooking up to your TV with a 10 foot (nice quality) cord to play video games and watch TV/movies, They are very durable, I wouldn't even think they would break after throwing them across the room and against the wall. The sound quality is good and they look pretty sleek, but don't be fooled into thinking they're a soft and comfy set of headphones to wear, because they are made out of 100% flexible plastic and the cushion isn't as soft as it appears in pictures, but they are not nauseating or uncomfortable at all, just don't think they're something they're not. I am very satisfied with my purchase. BUY THESE IF: You have kids that won't be very careful with them, it doesn't matter, they won't break these unless they try their hardest to snap them into two. You need a good quality set of headphones for your TV at home to watch TV/watch movies/play video games for under $40, if you want to buy a better-quality set for these purposes, buy the HA-RX700 or HA-RX900 You need a good quality set of headphones for your office or home computer where you need some cord length to work for under $40, if you want to buy a better-quality set for this purpose, buy the HA-RX700 or HA-RX900Read full review
These headphones are lightweight, despite their size, and very comfortable. The bass is a bit loose and airy, but overall, the sound is otherwise well-balanced. There is a music/movie "sound mode" baffle on the bottom of each headphone, which does practically nothing in terms of change the sound - except that one of mine is loose, so it rattled until I jammed a bit of kleenex into the track so that it would still function (?), but not rattle . . . They will handle a lot of level, enough to get through to a deaf drummer (not me btw) without distorting. I would actually class these as open-back in terms of leakage/isolation. Unless the singer you're recording is listening at a low level, the mix in the headphones will leak into the mic. For recording drums, you have to really crank them up to get over the leakage from the kit - so much that a cowbell/click can be detected in the overhead mikes! I'm going to silicone some rubber-backed carpet to the outside of each driver to see if that helps. The cord is thin, uncoiled, and long (good for a studio, bad for an iPod). However, for $20, there's nothing close. **** of *****Read full review
This was a replacement for one that my ex broke. Dropped a sautering gun on the wire burning pretty much through. I know enough that I had it fixed but fix came loose. I don't like the newer models as the earpiece does not fit over my ear but on top of it. Will be buying all the ones in good condition i can find in case i need them. Best sound ever as well.
