turns out mine didnt need a laser, they realigned the height of the ps2 reader and cleaned the disc tray which i mentioned was dusty..... i watched a few videos online and cleaned the laser from the ps2 and it read futurama (dust from shipping) , i was so happy.... seems dk oldies changed the lasers on these which maybe explains intro loading lag..... i think im fine with capacitors hopefully,bit dusty inside but looks ok. these guys blessed me with a 50 dollar refund and saved the ps2's height
