    books of buckskinning,william scurlock

    After reviewing the entire series I found some of the articles usefull but as ny first review stated, not worth over the original issue price.For the novice they would be great and for a non historian on the subject they would enlighten them.The person versed into the outdoors,reenacting,buckskinning would probably find it could help in specific areas.If you google the series a person can actually find out every article in each magazine as so they do not waste money re-hashing something they already know.I found that was useful to me.Its kind of like the entire "Foxfire" series,you really don't need every one.Remember,do not over pay and the people selling usually do not tell you what articles are in each series so do some homework.

    Buckskinning VII

    This is a very good book. It is a very interesting look into some ways that people in the early 1800's lived. This book will be a very good source of information for anyone interested in history, and a very useful aid for anyone considering getting into living history reenacting. Not only is volume 7 a great book, the whole series is very entertaining.
