Good value for the buck, easy to handle, keeps playing while you change cds
I had a Sony 5-cd changer and never liked it and it broke down after 3 years off very, very little usage. This Denon is exactly what I was looking for. Love that you can change cd's while the player keeps playing the current cd, so your music is not interrupted. Easy to use. Love it. The only two things I don't like is that you have to turn it on by hand, the remote does not turn it off or on. The second thing is that it is almost impossible to read anything on the remote or on the player itself because they printed everything in brownish characters. It's a pain in the butt, you have to turn on quite a bit of light in order to see what everything says. Good product. Sounds good. Stable cd tray and useful function buttons. A 5 disc mp3 playing cd player helps me trim down my massive amounts of music. I make cds that are discographies of bands or sets of albums I associate with certain time periods of my life. Each mp3 cd is a little like a playlist. They help me listen to a nice variety of music without pressing random and being carried around a gigabyte of stuff ad infinitum.Good product. Sounds good. Stable cd tray and useful function buttons. Mult-disc player
I was looking for a mult-disc, compact disc player and ran across this unit. Quite the find, siitting in a warehouse for 10 years, undistrubed. Still in it's box, waiting to be discovered. As I said, quite the find. A very nice piece of audio equipment. It does exactly what I was looking for. I am very pleased.

They forgot something
The unit is built like a tank and is solid. The 5 disc tray is very quiet. However, while it does have a headphone out jack, they forgot to put a volume control with it. If you want to listen to your music from this source, it will be screamingly loud due to the missing volume control. All in all this is a disappointing unit. How can they overlook something like a volume control feature?

better than average c d changer
overall i would recommend this player.it is a bit noisy and a little slow between c d changes but it has a great sound.you really need to keep up with the remote because it makes life a lot easier when operating the unit.i would purchase again in the $80.00 to $110.00 range
