    Not Waterproof

    I purchased these specific walkie talkies because I needed waterproof walkie talkies for fishing. The ad stated "waterproof," so I assumed they were in fact waterproof. Package arrived and nowhere on package, or manual does it state these walkie talkies are waterproof. Tested audio transmission clarity on one of radios and transmitting voices are very echoey and unclear. Sending them back.

    Nice little radios!

    Bought these for coms while off roading. Tested at home and from 1/8 mile away, the transmission and reception was crystal clear. The earpiece and external mic seemed to work well. Should work well for our intended use.
