      It's accurate once it finds the satellites.

      I've only had the GPS unit hooked up for a few drives but it worked well after a couple minute delay for acquiring satellites. There is also a second or two delay when changing speeds. Hookup was easy with just a ground, switched power, and the wire to the speedometer to connect the sender. The antenna comes attached with a fairly long cord. This is an okay substitute for a vehicle driven speedometer but the lag time when accelerating makes it hard to accurately determine the target speed and it's easy to overshoot the speed limit. On the other hand, the speed once stabilized is very accurate. I had one drive where I drove for at least a mile before the speedometer started working which was annoying as I was just guessing at my speed.
