Reason to get SSD
Cheap and affordable, this SSD allows me to really work faster. Not the biggest size (GBs) but I use it now to run my main OS while using another drive as back up for larger files that I don't access very frequently. Everything automatically improved - start up time, app load time, data retrieval and save times. By that I mean I literally went from 1m 30s to load up to just under 30s!!! Literally an exponential improvement in performance. And when I compare that performance increase to price and size, I think this has been an essential and sensible upgrade. By sensible I mean it wouldn't make sense not to upgrade to an SSD. The reason I looked at Kingston was primarily the price but secondly the price for product. Cheaper SSDs may be out there but Kingston is a known and reliable brand ... Cheap and affordable, this SSD allows me to really work faster. I purchased this Kingston 120GB SSD as a replacement for my HP 11x360 unit, as the original HDD began to fail. I decided to try a SSD as the reliabilty reviews were great. Athough smaller in size, I needed reliabilty as a priorty for my studies. After installing the SSD and installing Windows 10 back on, I noticed how much faster the computer ran. No matter how much you open or run, it is far superior which is noticeable every time I use it.. The SSD has surpassed all my expectations and more. I could not be happier. The Seller had priorty posted the product to me as well. Top Seller, will buy again. Lastly, this is my first review. Great, good product and good value for money. I will be back soon.
I purchased the SSD drive as it has lower power usage plus fast write etc. I wanted it for my security system as I have had two normal hard drives fail so far. The SSD should last a lot longer as there are no moving parts. Installed and it worked straight away. no formatting or problems. I will be buying another one as soon as I save up enough dollars and put it into my aging laptop. Should smarten it up a bit.
