Step up from the 20T original motor

I was looking for an inexpensive better performing motor for my grandsons AMP 1/10, the Dynamite 15T brushed NIP motor gave us the little more speed we were hoping to get. It's been 3 weeks now since the change, still running great. Worth the money to see him happy.

    • Top critical review

      Was good 😣

Below was my old review. This motor actually destroyed itself somehow. It wasn't over geared or anything. During a run it started to loose power and then it just started driving very slowly. This was after a 15 minute race, before this however I was running a Traxxas Stinger for two 15 minutes runs (letting it cool off between runs) and it did a great job. The Stinger isn't as fast as this motor but its got about the same torque. Both motors were being run in a Traxxas Bandit with stock 21/83 gearing. I've run this Dynamite about 30 times since I purchased it with this gearing and has been flawless, never ran hot or even come close to running hot. Oh well. Guess I'll stick with Traxxas motors or Tamiya motors from now on. This motor has pretty good top end and very good low end and mid ...

    • Solder points weak, but motor itself as described

motor is fine but the factory solder points from motor to negative and positive bullet connectors were weak. Negative connector connector solder broke after 5 runs and the positive after a month. I've had to re solder them and reenforce them. FYI: my son is a basher with his boost buggy so if using for strictly street use it'll probably be fine but if you off-road and flipping and jumping or the rc truck/car bounces a-lot you may want to reenforce the solder points prior to installation. Other than the solder points the motor itself performs great so far with all the bashes and flips.
