It has become known that this figure was based on design renders of the movie character that then changed prior to release. Thus, things like the positioning of the doors in robot mode are noticeably different than on screen. That said, this is still an impressive figure and one worth buying to tell Hasbro and Takara Tomy that we’d like more from this movie and any sequels.

Transformers Bumblebee. I had to have this in spite of the price. I couldn't read or decipher the instructions, so I took three days to just make it look like a Volkswagen. This approach works, and is very entertaining. It is parked among my other VW models, lurking, really, until it is needed to fight alien robot invasion.

Amazing Bumblebee figure. Has some really great accessories like his Stinger sword and blaster (which looks great because when attached to his arm, it looks like his arm has transformed into blaster). The transformation is as good or even better than MPM-3 Bumblebee's transformation. Ultimately, it's a great figure. Highly recommended.

Converting to vehicle mode is a bit tricky, especially the first time or two. The instructions are difficult to understand at points so I looked up a walkthrough online. But the figure is awesome! Great details and looks cool on display!

I won't recommend on buying this if you're just going to use it for playing. This figure is good for displaying since it has a remarkable details. So, if you're just going to play with it you might as well buy the commercial version of this figure, which is roughly around $30.
