Not Water Tight
I filled two of these particular 3 gallon Igloo coolers with water and pushed the lid on tight. The word here is tight. The lid is a press fit. I then placed each cooler in a milk crate which is a perfect fit for these 2 gallon coolers. The crate prevents the cooler from tipping over when transported in a vehicle. I placed the crates with the coolers in my trailer and drove 124 miles to my property. When I arrived I observed that my trailer was wet and half the water from each cooler was gone. Repeat. Half the water from each cooler was gone. Amazingly, both lids were still on each cooler pressed down tight. I won't be buying another cooler like this one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good quality, cold stays cold
Quality we were looking for. A five gallon would be too heavy to lug around so the 2 gallon was perfect. Others we looked at had a cheap valve on it and didn't seem well insulated. We've had ice water in this that stayed ice cold for two days. Get a water cooler that will not tip over.
This is the only 2 gallon water cooler I have found that will not tip over in the bed of my pickup truck. All others are taller than they are wide so they fall over and all the water leaks out.
