    As i hoped for

    This I bought on a whim . So glad I did. I bought it for my router table. But found out it's fantastic for the table saw and I even set up jointer knife heights with it. It is very light almost too light. But I take care of it. It is very accurate and the ad didn't mention magnets on the base and that was nice to see when it came to me. I basically like this because the measuring post is off the side and the base sits on the table and not the blade or router insert to give me a true measurement. It reads in fractions ,metric and u.s. decimal. Battery is included. I like this and the value is excellant for what. Paid for it.

    Not So Good

    Accuracy is not very good. Was setting up the table saw, for a 1/2 inch cut, and the reading went from 13/64 ths to 1/16 th. So the chip in the tool is not very good. Tried it several times and it did the same thing. Hard to read sideways also, and you need a flashlight at times to see the figures. Secures OK to a metallic surface, but on non-metallic like a router table, the base is not wide enough to stand on its own. Be sure to zero it every time you move it to be sure it is reading properly. I will go back to my old step gauge for better accuracy.

    One of the most useful shop measuring tools

    I think I've been waiting a while for this tool. It makes setting table saw and router table heights easy as well as helping to set jointer blades accurately. The tool is made of plastic, so obviously it may not be as durable as one made of metal, but, with care, this should last a good long time. I'm still finding ways to use this tool

    Perfect for woodworking !!!

    The size, features, simplicity, and accuracy makes this tool ideal for woodworkers. Need to set your jointer knives---done ! Need to set the depth on your tablesaw for a dado or rabbet---done ! I am VERY pleased with this check gauge and it should provide years of service.

    Great tool great price

    This tool was exactly what I needed To set my jointer blades perfectly It's also great for setting the bit height on my router table. I use reading glasses, so very fine Measurements were hard to see. The lg digital readout makes it a snap! Watch the videos for other applications in the table saw and more.
