The bonus was the packaging in which it arrived. The business owner writes in absolutely beautiful cursive script. It's of a time when writing mattered, and reminded me how nice writing from a pen can be. I've now sold the sewing machine, but I've kept the envelope. :)

The item arrived perfectly packed but its condition was surprisingly unexpected as the unit was covered with some oily substance and needs a total repair which wasn't outlined in the advertisement as nothing actually worked when plugged in. So it will need to be sent to a professional repairer for a total expensive rebuild.
