Overall it's very good. Lightweight and seems of good quality. The PTT switch is the only negative. You have to push it just right to make contact. Sometimes you think your broadcasting and you're not. Can't beat the price though.

Sound is a little tinny, but it's loud. around our shop metal dust and filings tend to collect on the speakers. These come apart easily for cleaning. $10 beats the $93 our dealer is charging for his aftermarket mics. Only one failure in 6 months.

I purchased this mics for work and they didn’t even work at all. They are meant for the radio I use at work , the quality is so awful and cheap they don’t work. The product took over a month to get here , I can only imagine what the return process would be . I threw $30.00 down the drain.

This mic is not what is called a tier 1 radio product. Tier 1 products are found on the cops and the military because they have to be really tough to survive the use they get. That said, it's still a good remote mic for everyday use. As long as you are not mud wrestling with a suspect or diving for cover in a war zone, you will be fine with this.

Received it in the mail ahead of schedule, plugged right in just fine but the button has to be pushed in really hard to work or it just comes out as static
