So many pieces were broken and a bunch were missing. The box was also in terrible condition. The seller lied. Missing pieces . Broken pieces beyond repair. Incredibly damaged box. Packaging was bad. The set and bricks were just thrown in bags. Shipping time was super long. Absolutely no communication from the seller. And I paid $20 for shipping!? And $40 for this broken set!? I was not at all happy or satisfied with my purchase. I would not recommend this seller.Unless they gave replacments

Heroquest. Why play anything else?
This was the board game that defined the dungeon crawl genre for 3 decades and running. While perennial greats like Descent, Dark World, Dragonstrike, Doom, and apparently any other game that starts with D, have perpetuated and possibly refined the 1 vs all mechanic. Heroquest did it first and, if not better, then so well that you needn't bother yourself with any other dungeon crawl. Or board game. Or hobby. Or anything really. Heroquest is the game to end all games. Dice based combat, miniatures, spell and item cards, varieties of scenarios, asymmetrical player types, infinite dungeon design potential. It bridged the gap between board gaming and role playing effectively and accessibly. It upped the ante for dungeon crawl component quality. It brought the genre to a new younger ... HeroQuest ~ The Adventure of a lifetime
What isn't there to like about HeroQuest!? My friends and I recently started our very own campaign. We've grown close and usually end up laughing our way through each quest. Of course our barbarian springs all the traps by walking into them and our wizard rushes into rooms full of enemies but fortune smiles on our dice rolls! I never got to play this game as a child but enjoy it now well into my 30's. If I were a father I would bring my children together and bring them into this fantasy world of adventure. Concepts are simple yes, but a fun lighthearted journey for all ages! The figures are awesome, the little furniture fantastic and I love searching for treasure in every room, even though I always get the wondering monster! A cult classic and well worth the money as this will be hours ... What isn't there to like about HeroQuest!? My friends and I recently started our very own campaign.
