A real disappointing film. The premise sounds like a real shocker, however, the film is a botch job at editing & too many scenes of the main character playboy flying around in his helicopter showing off to his many girlfriends. There is no shock value with only the playboy and his henchman throwing handfuls of his chopped-up victims ending up like human Gains burgers into a large cage of cats. There are lots of cats and several scenes look like animal abuse as one cat is picked up and tossed over a high fence, twisting until it bangs on the ground. Another scene has the ego maniac grabbing a cat and plunging it into a swimming pool holding it under the water. There are no disclaimers in the end credits stating that no animals were harmed. The only good role is played by Annette Comer who was in a far better horror than this one. The cult horror classic Baby 1972, which may be one of the best made thrillers with actress Ruth Roman as an evil mother. Annette and Ruth go head-to-head as Annette fights to get custody citing abuse against Ruth. Check out Baby but avoid Night of One Thousand Cats. Read full review

Night of a 1000 cats is a Mexican low budget movie that stars only one person I have heard of, 70s actress and beauty Anjenette Comer. Its running time is only 63 minutes but the store has so many gaps in it,it should have been longer. For example, why does the main male character fly around a helicopter to places but never likes to land or why does he collect heads and cats. Fans of the The Walking Deads' Governor would like this movie for that simple reason, this villian likes to collect the heads of women he has killed. Its an ok movie but I wouldn't spend alot trying to get a copy. I bought it because it was inexpensive and curious about the CATS in the title. And theres not 1000 cats, only like 100.
