Vincenzo Maltempo's previous Alkan CD (PCL0038) received the highest praise from international critics.     Finally an Alkan pianist!

    It's been decaes since Raymond Lewenthal and Ronald Smith took on the fiendishly difficult piano works of Charles Alkan. Here, pianist Vincenzo Maltempo more than acquits himself of Aesop's Festival. A new recording worth having in your library!
