Humidity takes a little while to catch up (21-41%) unfortunately it turns the humidifier on and the 21% is not real. The Honeywell thermostat and another device agree that its 41%. In my other home I had a Honeywell thermostat that controlled the humidity. The new one displays the humidity but cannot control it. That is why I needed this device to control the humidity. It's still Fall in Minnesota and we don't need it right now and hopefully it works better when the temperature drops and the furnace takes out what little humidity is available. Then a little hiccup shouldn't matter.
