The item arrived well packaged and timely. It was as described, except for a very foul oder and was quite dirty around the lid with old food particles (syrup?) stuck on. While the glass cleaned up great, the lid still stinks quite badly. Luckily I had another lid from a jar I recently broke, which this replaced, so Im' using that instead. Overall not a total loss, a nice piece for a reasonable price and I will be using it!
