A chorus of thunder storms rumbling out enormous feeling, feeling that will grip your mood softly and firmly. There is something with these sounds and anarchism. There is more said here than most music groups with vocalists, in fact, the lack of vocals may attribute to this records power. I think of times, I've gotten lost, far from home on my bicycle challanging the raining and storming heavens as loud as I could, standing still, defiant and soaked. This is not happy music, this is not dancable music and of course this not karaoke (for obvious reasons). The closest one can come (and I risk sounding to seriously dorkish here but anyhow) to singing along, is to feel your own hearbeat. This music challanges you not just off the well beaten path, but off all of them together. A swayfting ...

  • After the first listen..

I was feeling a little unfulfilled as the first GSYBE record I got into was 'yanqui u.x.o', which is amazing. This record certainly has great parts but lacks what the later has. I DO recognize this record came out before 'yanqui' which extends a cushion for the natural progression of musicianship to fall upon. Maybe if I had been a GSYBE fan from the get-go I probably wouldn't have the feeling I do about this release...I will give it more time and I'm certain I will find more things that are great than that that are not.

  • Great buy, really enjoyed it time and time again.

I really liked this album. It is beyond great, a piece of musical genius to say the least. 'Amazing' does not do this album justice.

  • fantastical

the soundtrack to dreamscapes. recomended for any collection or any musical taste. If I had to choose one album to listen to for the rest of my life, I would happily give eternity to this piece of art.
