Book had insufficient packing. The bent, torn corners of the book show that a heavy hardback book will poke holes in plastic bubble wrap. Especially “media mail” which is made for magazines at best. It was paid for 5-3, Post Office 5-7 set 5–13 arrival date. It shuffled around multiple sites but never got to GA. Arrived 5-13! I would have paid for Priority 2 day if it was available but it was not offered to me. I would never waste a moment more of this sellers time by buying from again.

Easy to use, colorful dictionary
This dictionary was a great purchase. It is easy for my 4th grader to use, and it is brightly colored with lots of photographs. The pages are color-coded, for example the "A" pages have yellow along the side, "B" pages have green, "C" pages have blue, "D" pages have red. Then the color pattern starts over with yellow for the "E" pages, etc. The font is fairly large and is easy to read. The photographs are clear and relevant to the definitions. There are enough words in this dictionary for it to be useful for my daughters to use it for a long time, probably through high school. Certainly there will be words that are not in there, but that is true with any dictionary. I am very happy with this dictionary.This dictionary was a great purchase. Awesome Children's Dictionary
My 8 year old daughter has, for the longest time, been asking both me and her mom "what does this word mean" and "how do you spell that word". I kept on saying that I was going to get her a dictionary and I finally did. There are lots of dictionaries for kids out there but, I saw the DK Merriam Webster Children's Dictionary at a kid's daycare center and realized that this was the one to get. Along with the definitions of thousands of words, the dictionary also had plenty of pictures too. Since presenting my daughter with this dictionary, she has been referring to it often, especially while reading books outside of her reading level. She's amazed by many of the pictures in the book and now sleeps with the dictionary in bed with her. Good for the price
My students love these dictionaries. We had an older version that was also nice but needed replacing. These make a good replacement. Some of the dictionaries had pages that were cut, colored, or written on...but for the price we are working around that.
