What I like about the pump is that it’s a good price and I’ll get about 3 yes out of it. That good IMO for something that runs 10 hrs a day everyday. This is my 3rd pump and have come to realize that it’s a work horse for what it has to do. So it cost me about $45 a year to replace the pump every 3 years. My advise, find the cheapest price for the size pump you need and unless you can keep every spec of dirt out of the pump expect replacing it about the 3rd year . Note, the first one I bought was expensive and didn’t get much more life out of it than the cheaper ones. It’s a Koi pond and dirt will circulate through the pump which is what breaks it over time . For me , I’m happy to spend $45 a year to have a beautiful pond with waterfalls!!!
