"As Katy Bowman knowledgeablyand often humorouslyexplains, the concepts of barefoot biomechanics and minimal footwear aren't just about feet. Whole Body Barefoot offers a nuanced discussion of minimal shoes as just one potential component of a whole-body solution to what so often is really a whole-body problem."--Jordana Bieze Foster, Editor, Lower Extremity Review Magazine, "Whole Body Barefoot is an indispensable guide for anyone looking to make the successful transition to minimalist footwear, with the added bonus of improving the function of the body."--Paleo Magazine, "Katy Bowman has done it once again. Her books and articles arealways cutting-edge sources of practical advice that is easy to implement, and WholeBody Barefoot is no exception! But now I have a done-for-you guidethat shows exactly how it''s done, from strengthening to stretching to shoechoice and more! This is a must-have book for anyone with feet." -- BenGreenfield , athlete and author of the New York Times Best Seller BeyondTraining: Mastering Endurance, Health and Life "Her detailed approach to understanding barefootbiomechanics is impressive on its own, but there is much more. This insightful book will lead you toclearly understand that it is not the product you do or do not use, but ratherthe role you play in your physical health. Read it." -- Eric Goodman , DC,Founder of Foundation Training "Whether you''re playing field sports or simply moving throughdaily life, success begins from the ground up. Whole Body Barefoot explains the ''why'' and provides the ''how-to'' in a logical, step-by-step plan totreat your feet and help you to move better." -- Chip Morton , Pro FootballStrength & Conditioning Coach, Cincinnati, Ohio "As an endurance sports coach, most ailments I see can be linkedto the feet. I am always looking for resources to provide athletes withpractical reasons and solutions to common foot related issues--such as ''duckfeet'' and over-pronation--and this book is one of the best I''ve found! Onceagain, Katy inspires us to take charge of our body''s ''shape'' and be proactive insteadof reactive--and exercise alone won''t cut it. Whether you''re a clinician oramateur athlete, Whole Body Barefoot is a comprehensive guide onbiomechanics, anatomy and movement that will make us all more aware and strongerfrom the feet up! I even discovered new things about my feet and form in thisbook, and will be putting to use Katy''s step-by-step guides on standingcorrectly, corrective exercises, and more." -- Tawnee Prazak , MS, CSCS,endurance sports coach, strength training specialist, athlete, and host of theEndurance Planet podcast " Whole Body Barefoot delivers by taking the complex, wholebody, biomechanical issues of barefoot running and making it digestiblefor runners looking to begin barefoot running. I would highly recommendindividuals looking to engage in barefoot running to read this book." -- JoshuaStone , MA, ATC, PES, CES "In Whole Body Barefoot , Katy Bowman clearly outlineshow most footwear changes the natural shape of our feet, and by extension, thefunction of our entire body. This the best formof healing, and it is for all of us." -- Ray McClanahan , DPM, creator ofCorrect Toes® "Most people in the Paleo community have tried switching to moreminimalist footwear, with varied success. Unfortunately, a lot of these newconverts revert back to ''regular'' shoes after experiencing increased foot pain, back problems and plantar fasciitis. If only these poor folks had this book! Whole Body Barefoot is anindispensable guide for anyone looking to make the successful transition to minimalist footwear, with the added bonusof improving the function of their entire body!" -- Cain Credicott , PaleoMagazine "As Katy Bowman knowledgeably--and often humorously-- explains, the concepts of barefoot biomechanics and minimal footwear aren''t just aboutfeet. Whole Body Barefoot offers a nuanced discussion of minimal shoesas just one potential component of a whole-body solution to what so often isreally a whole-body problem." -- Jordana Bieze Foster, Editor, LowerExtremity ReviewMagazine, "This is a must-have book for anyone with feet!"--Ben Greenfield, athlete and author of the New York Times Best Seller Beyond Training: Mastering Endurance, Health and Life, "I truly admire anyone who can make me laugh and learn at the same time, especially when it comes to my favorite subject of all, the body. I also enjoy someone who has the ability to take sophisticated and sometimes confusing terms or principles and break them down into practical bits of information that are applicable to daily life. Whole Body Barefoot does this time and again, and it's one of the most important reasons I adore the book so much."--Preston Ray Fitness

So I only gave them a 4 star for shipping because I ordered almost exactly the same product, from a seller in just about the same area, and they were more "on the ball". Shipping from this seller was very good mind you, but when competing with others, the more "dedicated" will usually win out. Next to that, the packaging was good and the item was priced better than at market. I'd still HIGHLY recommend this seller to other manga buyers!

As a first-time user of an air fryer, I needed some help with the logistics and helpful hints, plus recipes, and this cookbook FLEW to my door in just a few days, thank goodness. The seller was excellent with price, shipping, and quality of the item. It is brand new, but won't stay looking this good for long, as I have already used it, and you know how cookbooks get splatters, etc. Good thing this is a high-quality cookbook! Thank you to the seller!

  • Great info delivered clearly & with humor...a users' manual for all to consider

Helpful info for everyone's body....a users guide by a well thought out & well educated person who truly understands the subject! This book (as well as Katy Bowman's other titles), contains important info for everyone...especially anyone with pain in their body. Great info delivered clearly & with humor. The book provides info on how our bodies work, how our bodies are affected when we use our bodies incorrectly (or don't use it much at all), gives alignment points to become aware of along with exercises to do & what you need to do to shift to better patterns, usage & habits of body use. As a professional who has been helping people with their pain, body usage & movement patterns for 35 years, this author's work has been extremely valuable for me, as well as for my practice.
