Pros + A unique twist on the 1st person shooter. + Being able to use vampire powers, a sweet melee, & a real sense of unloading your weapon on an opponent. + Huge multiplayer maps for on or offline play. Cons - Driving is not as fun as you want it to be. - Choosing between good & evil doesn't really explore consequences. - Trying to find a game online. Host advantage. Comments Darkwatch has some interesting game elements. This is no basic 1st person shooter. Your team of soldiers is useless but all of your powers make up for it. Jumping is also major fun because you can get a ton of air time. There are quite a few memorable boss fights & rail shooting from your horse. It also has a pretty good story & some nice cutscenes. Verdict Must play for any 1st person shooter fan or anyone looking for something different.Read full review
If HighMoon studios would have capitalized of this game. There is not a doubt in my mind it would be going toe to toe with cod today. Some people preferred that hot mess Halo. I preferred this game. The story was more intriguing and was more captivating. It had a chance to be walked through the ages and upgraded along the way. In my opinion it stil does. Adding to it's story, powers, characters, creatures, multiplayer, and much more. HighMoon broke the mold when they made this game. True the enemies are a little repetitive. But, that because it feels like it was rushed at the last second. To the original HighMoon team. If you can and Activision will give the chance. Try and make a part two one more time. Me and my cousin are about to go through the coop mode again. If you get to make a second one. You should add the single player stuff in to the coop mode as well. Make it two players on story mode for the the same console and online. Thank you once again for a marvelous game.Read full review

In this 2005 classic by CAPCOM, you play as the gunslinger Jericho. If there ever was a character more based off of Van Helsing than Jericho, taking out all creatures of the supernatural. Originally armed with just your standard revolver, you start off on a train that has been overtaken by the undead. One of your comrades is then taken out and leaves you his gun, a quicker handgun that when the trigger is held down can rapid fire. It is shortly after this you learn who the true terror is, and what is needed to be done to take him out. The only question is do you have what it takes to get the mission done? With other weapons such as; a crossbow with exploding bolts, a shotgun, a carbine rifle, a rocket launcher, and many more. This game is guaranteed to keep you on your toes at all times, and give you an adrenaline rush through 21 chapters that really puts you into the boots of Jericho himself. With 2 different endings based upon the path you travel, will you protect the Darkwatch or be consumed by your own darkness?Read full review

So many shooters claim to be the best. However, as a FPS fan, I still have trouble picking out my favorite. But I can honestly tell you that Darkwatch is up there with the best of them. Great weapons, super melee attacks, excellent controls, and a really cool cartoon-esqe quality to the vampire/western theme provides for an extremely fun experience. Darkwatch is not a survival horror game. It's a standard FPS through and through. And one that shooter fans will surely enjoy!
Darkwatch ranks in the top 5 best FPS games on the ps2. The graphics are good but the effects are fantastic. I really enjoyed using the enhanced vision mode to target enemies. give it a try, its a great game if you can get it for under 10 bucks
