There was no gold color on it, it was all silver, but i'd consider that a positive for my bike. everything else was 100% accurate. Works very well, tested before installing and it doesnt leak when in off position. Petcock fits my 1967(?) Suzuki K11P. (The yellow stuff around the top is Gas-resistant PTFE tape that I put on myself.)
