SNK's long-running fighting series returns with new 3D character graphics, an expanded roster, and a new story arc in The King of Fighters XIV. The new story finds an eccentric billionaire named Antonov, who claims to be the tournament's first champion, buying the rights to the King of Fighters tournament in an attempt to restore its lost glory. There are 50 fighters available, including 19 new characters, and each has been designed using 3D models rather than hand-drawn sprites, though the action still takes place on a 2D plane.<br><br>Players can unleash stunning Climax Super Special combo moves as they compete in Story, VS, and Team Battle modes, while the new Rush feature lets novices compete simply by repeatedly pressing the Light Attack button. The franchise's Max mode returns in a new form to let gamers use EX Special moves and perform unlimited combos, while fans of multiplayer action can battle one-on-one in local matches, or head online for three-on-three party battles.<br><br>This version comes in a special SteelBook case featuring the character Kyo Kusanagi.

    Thank you to the seller for selling this game. I love KOF. I've been playing it since I was a kid! Everything on the seller's part was 5☆. The only thing I have a comment about is the game itself. My only complaint is that I wish they had made more moves for each character. And that they didn't make Whip a DLC. I have to pay $10 something for one character? It's a little much and their milking fans of their money. Other than those things I enjoy the game and the NE array of characters and the stages you can choose from. Thank you.

    Good game

    Brings back old memories. They kept the same game play as far as combos go. Except for a couple of players like kyo the combos are real easy. Great graphics. I think they could've done alot better with the story in the story mode but oh well

    Excellent Game for the PS4

    This game is awesome. It's rare to see SO MANY CHARACTERS to choose from right from the get go. I like it's easy-to-play; hard-to-master style and best of all, there are plenty of modes to choose from. Great game to start if you enjoy fighting games like I do.

    One of the best king of fighters games and the very first stepping into 3d modeled chacters

    Easy combos the easiest in the series by far which for me is a good thing just wish the ending boss was maybe included in the story mode more otherwise the game is perfect in my eyes.
