Although recommended is a small 92mm "thin" fan to cool it. i.e. "Noctua 92mm NF-A9X14 PWM 2200RPM Fan". Combine existing rear fans in NAS with PWM fan splitter. Standard CPU operating Temp 44 to 46 C. When CPU maxed (tested @ for an hour) Temp 55 to 58 C.(@ 3.4 GHz). The CPU upgrade ideal for running many Virtual servers (Windows 2012) and Virtual Desktop testing (WIN8 & WIN10) on the NAS.
