When I pushed the nozzle down I initially got the transparent gel only and I applied it for testing. It only worked partially. The 2nd attempt I shook the container and used the product as directed and wow the results were spectacular it not only was as advertised I have never had so much coverage of the greys with any other product. The hair is not ruined either. (I applied this 3 days back on my mush)
